President – Chuck Lanser
Responsibilities include:  oversees and helps where necessary for the entire Club; gives and maintains the Club’s direction; hold Board meetings monthly; email meeting agendas prior to meetings; serves on the Board of Directors.

 

Vice President - John Wolf
Responsibilities include:  assists the President where/when necessary to oversee the entire Club; attend monthly Board meetings; serves on the Board of Directors.

 

Treasurer – Jeff Wozniak

Responsibilities include: have charge and custody of and be responsible for all funds and se= curities of the PWSC receives and give receipts for monies due and payable to PWSC; deposit all monies received; gives monthly budget report to Board at meetings; must have pc/printer; attend monthly Board meetings; serves on the Board of Directors.

 

Secretary - VACANT

Responsibilities include:  keep and email minutes of the Board meetings to Board members before next monthly meeting; keeps board member info up to date and hands info out; attend monthly Board meetings; serves on the Board of Directors

 

Referee Coordinator – Ron Lauters
Responsibilities include:  Coordinates referee assigning through Arbiter, check for conflicts; schedule ref meeting to go over referee issues, rule changes, and assign games once per season; obtain and hand out registration forms for ref certification clinics; watch newer refs time permitting; give feedback; handle calls/emails regarding game cancellations/changes; attend monthly Board meetings when possible; serves on Board of Directors.

 

Short Stuff Coordinator – Leslie Lanser

Responsibilities include: organizing and administering program, placing ads in local paper and distributing flyers to local schools announcing program dates/times; oversee program sessions; Work with head Short Stuff Coach, attend monthly Board meetings when possible; serves on Board of Directors.

 

Short Stuff Coach

Adult parents of players who enjoy working with children ages 4-6. Provide the preliminary development of their soccer skills.  Coaching commitment includes six to eight skill-building sessions in the fall and in the spring.  Prior soccer experience desired.

 

RecreationalCoordinator – Steve Hughes

Establishes teams, assigns players to teams, and recruits rec team coaches.  Serves as an advocate for Rec soccer players and their families, and a liaison between Rec coaches and the Board.  Obtains and hands out coach/manager registration forms and information regarding coaching clinics/licensing.  Holds Rec coaches meeting once per season.  Attend monthly Board meetings when possible; serves on Board of Directors.

 

Recreational Team Coach

Responsibilities include:  conducting team practices and coaching games.  Required to attend a “Y1” license clinic (one time certification) and are encouraged to attend our PWSC coaches’ clinics.  Enjoy working with children highly recommended.

 

Recreational Team Manager Coordinator - VACANT

Responsibilities include:  recruit rec team managers; hands out information to head rec team manager such as picture day, practice w/the Pirates day, etc; works closely with Registrar and Special Events Coordinator.  Attend monthly Board meetings when possible; serves on Board of Directors

 

Recreational Team Managers

Responsibilities include:  setting up game drink/snack schedule; hands out announcements, picture day, practice w/the Pirates; hand out uniforms; make calls regarding game/practice changes; collect tournament fees and complete application; coordinate volunteers for our tournament.  Works closely with coach and Rec Team Manager Coordinator.

 

Classic Coordinator – Steve Ziebell

Coordinate and set dates for Classic tryouts per WYSA guidelines; Advertise Classic tryout schedule in local paper; Responsible for organizational aspects of Classic tryout, assist Classic coaches in player selection;  Notify players of Classic team selection, organize and run Classic team meeting; Recruit and provide guidance for Classic managers; Register teams in appropriate league for fall and spring play with WYSA and MYRSL; Coordinate field schedules with State league and MYRSL schedulers; Tabulate referee game fees for Classic managers; Follow up with Classic fee collection; Coordinate creation and distribution of player passes; Work with Classic coaches to provide a positive soccer experience to Classic teams; Attends monthly board meetings when possible and serves on the Board of Directors.

 

Classic Team Managers
Responsible for:  distributing game and practice schedules, team rosters, phone calls, field directions; filling out /submitting tournament applications, and State Cup applications; registering team at tournament; player passes; paying referees at league games and submitting game report forms; will keep team records; coordinate uniform purchases; assisting the Classic coach with rescheduling games when needed. 

 

Fundraising Coordinator - VACANT
Responsibilities include:  coordinates and works with Karthauser & Sons for spring  flower sale and apparel sales for Christmas and year round. Attends monthly board meetings when possible, serves on the Board of Directors.

 

Newsletter Coordinator -VACANT
Collects all information from the various officers, coordinators, and committees within the soccer club via email or memo. All information is to be received by the deadline pre-determined by you and the soccer board. Info typed up into newsletter format and given to the club president or vice president to review for content and typos. Make changes /corrections, take for copying; All expenses incurred are reimbursed through the treasurer; attend board meetings 1/month when possible, serves on Board of Directors

 

Newsletter Assembly - VACANT
Assembling of inserts, folding, and sealing the newsletters and mailing w/pre-printed labels from Registrar.  Regular stamps are used; all expenses incurred are reimbursed through the Treasurer

 

Tournament Director  - Andy Holtebeck

Responsible for the overall success of the annual recreational soccer tournament.  This includes applying for WYSA sanction, reserving the field sites through the school district, recruiting members of the tournament committee, directing the duties of the committee members, conducting committee meetings, act as contact person for all team inquiries, creating the tournament schedule and being available during the tournament to handle any conflicts or problems that may arise. Everything from committee member job descriptions to the numbers to call for the port-a-potty has been recorded for future tournaments to help. Attends board meetings when possible, serves on the Board of Directors.

Equipment Coordinator - VACANT
Responsibilities include:  organizes, maintains, and distributes Club equipment to Team Coaches (ie. Team bags, balls, first aid supplies, whistles, cones, etc); attend yearly coaches meeting; attend monthly Board meetings when necessary; serves on Board of Directors.

 

Rec Uniform Coordinator - VACANT
Responsibilities include:  receives uniform report from Registrar and orders uniforms; distributes uniforms to Team Managers for them to pass out to players before Fall season starts and on occasion during Spring season.

 

Uniform Assistants
Assist Uniform Coordinator by sorting uniforms and passing them out to the Team Managers in Fall before the season starts.  2-3 people needed; 2 hours total.

 

Special Events Coordinator - VACANT

  • Picture night which includes contacting the vendor and reserving the site through t= he school district, recruiting 1-2 parents to help, and being on site during the event (I've found that I've been able to do this by myself the last two years because the photographers are pros at this and they are willing to help).
  • Practice with the Pirates Night (Fall - varsity boys team; Spring - varsity girls team).  This includes contacting the coaches of the teams to determine the best night for both events according to their team schedule.  Practice nights would include recruiting 1-2 parents to help hand out refreshments to the team members after practice.
  • Member Appreciat= ion Night (Fall - varsity boys team; Spring - varsity girls team) would include contacting a local restaurant for donations of small food items (e.g. Culvers, Taco Bell in Port Washington and Saukville) to hand out= to all team members that come to the game with their jersey on.  Have also asked for and received donated items from the Pirates' coach= es to raffle off to team members who wear their jerseys as well.

Registrar – Mary Ann Klotz
Responsibilities include:  data entry of registration/volunteer forms; works with President to coordinate Registration night; distributes player passes to Team Mngrs; distributes rosters to Team Mngr Coord; must have printer/pc/email; attend monthly Board meetings when possible, serves on Board of Directors

 

Registration Night Assistants
Responsibilities include:  helping out at registration night in spring passing out forms, answering questions for a total of 2 hours

 

Registration Packet Assistants

Responsibilities include:  assembling/labeling packets before registration and delivering to local schools, rec department, library, etc and hanging up flyers at local businesses in spring.

 

Volunteer Coordinator - VACANT
Calls volunteers and gives them their job duties for the season; maintains job descriptions to keep up to d= ate; helps organize volunteers for club events; attend monthly Board meetings wh= en necessary; serves on the Board of Directors.

 

Publicity Coordinator - VACANT
Works with local papers and Webmaster to publish scores/club information; attend monthly Board meetings; serves on the Board of Directors.

 

Webmaster – Lynn Fyhrlund
Develop and maintain Club’s web site.  The Webmaster will work with a variety of Club reps for site content and also originates content. Program  HTML and upload pages on to the site, and integrate multimedia assets and applications into the site.  Develop and maintain a strategic plan for our Internet presence based on management priorities, policy directions, and goals.  Other duties include: create enhancements and modifications toour web site; organize and maintain the site; adapt to a changing scene with sometimes conflicting priorities; assess new standards, technologies and trends, and formulate strategies and plans for enhancing the site; maintain cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility so that the web site is accessible from a variety of different environments.  Produce a consistent visual image on the site by promoting uniform fonts, formatting, icons, images, layout techniques, and modularization, including maintenance of template and image archives.  Determine appropriate compression techniques, resolutions, sizes, color maps, and depths to insure that images are delivered to the viewer at sufficiently high speed and quality. Attends board meetings when possible, serves on the Board of Directors

 

PWHS Soccer Liaison – Sean O’Brien

Represents the PWHS boys and girls soccer programs. Serves as a liaison between the high school programs and the Club. Attends board meetings when possible, serves on the Board of Directors.

 

Fields and Maintenance Coordinator - VACANT

Responsible for the maintenance of the grounds and equipment at the Justice Center, Quade Park, St. Peters, TJMS, Lincoln Elementary and Grant St. Contracts for field mowing, weed control, fertilization and aeration of playing surfaces. Arranges for the delivery and pick up of portable toilets where needed. Solicits field stripers and coordinates lining of fields. Maintains Justice Center parking lot. Attends monthly board meetings when possible and serves on the Board of Directors.

 

Field Stripers-multiple positions available

Responsibilities: Line Striper. Line fields initially and then once per week during season.    Club provides paint and stripers. Time commitment is about one hour per week.

 

Goal Maintenance- multiple positions available

Responsibilities: Painters. Prepare goals for painting by removing rust, and painting goals at Justice Center, St. Peters, TJMS, Grant St. and Quade Park. The Club will provide paint and supplies. Time commitment 3 hours per goal.
