Parents

Posted by on Monday, January 31, 2005 (EST)

Code of conduct for our competitive parents.

The main responsibility of parents is to support your child on and off the field. Please set a good example for our children and community by being respectful of all players, coaches, and referees.

Parents should not attempt to coach the team during games or practices. Any coaching or player concern should be handled by speaking directly with the coach, preferably away from the soccer field. If there are any concerns or problems during a game, our club strongly encourages parents to contact the coach with any concerns, problems, or feedback later in the day or evening. Right after a game is not the best time for a discussion, as emotions are strong at this time, win or lose.
